Successful candidates should have an in-depth understanding of drug transporters and their impact on the discovery and development of new chemical entities; the experiences of working independently to design, conduct and interpret complex in vitro studies to solve program related issues.

Candidates must have demonstrated leadership as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills in a team environment.  Candidates should have the capability to establish a close collaborative relationship with other PPDM functional teams to drive discovery and development programs.  Candidates will also be expected to work closely with colleagues across our global network to advance our scientific strategy via developing novel tools/technologies to improve translation of in vitro data to predict transporter related drug disposition, DDIs, and interplay with drug metabolizing enzymes.

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant field (e.g. Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular and Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Biomedical Engineering) with 5+ years of experience

  • A MS or equivalent degree in a relevant field (e.g. Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular and Cell Biology, Pharmacology, Biomedical Engineering) with 8+ years of experience
