Lencer Lab – Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School
The successful candidate will lead an established NIH-funded project that focuses on the biology of an Inflammatory Bowel Disease risk allele C1ORF106 (INAVA) and how the protein acts in biomolecular condensates to regulate cellular proteostasis; and he/she/they will join a second project that focuses on the PARD6B/aPKC/Cdc42 epithelial membrane polarity complex and how it acts in a novel mechanism of cell-autonomous host defense at mucosal surfaces. Both projects will be available for career development.
The candidate must be able to work independently, problem solve and be outgoing and collaborative in the laboratory environment. Career paths into academia or industry will be supported.
