Position Summary:
Arkansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a faculty position in Foundational Sciences. This will be a 12-month, full time, tenure track position at the Asst Prof rank, 50% teaching, 40% research and 10% service. Teaching of DVM students will be in a competency-based veterinary curriculum incorporating lecture, lab and small group learning.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Contribute to competency-based veterinary curriculum development with a focus on foundational sciences
Teach in foundational sciences courses, including immunology, physiology, cell biology, research methods, +/-anatomy
Develop and maintain an extramurally-funded research program
Contribute to college and university committees and/or serve on regional or national professional organizations
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to work collaboratively with other faculty and staff • Ability to communicate effectively across CVM stakeholders • Ability to prioritize tasks, deliver results in a timely manner, and function independently
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as requested and/or needed Regular and reliable attendance

Minimum Qualifications:
